Schwalbe Aerothan Tube with Aluminium Valve Stem The Schwalbe Aerothan Tube with aluminium valve stem offers an exceptional combination of lightweight performance, stability, and eco-friendliness. Its durable aluminium valve ensures reliable handling and longevity, while the ultra-light TPU material minimizes rolling resistance and provides excellent puncture protection, making it a top choice in cycling tests. Manufactured using ChemCycling® technology from recycled pyrolysis oil, this tube promotes the circular economy and reduces dependence on fossil resources. Compatible with all pumps, Schwalbe Airmax, Bosch Speed Sensor, and Clik Valve systems, it sets new standards for high-performance and environmentally conscious riders. Aerothan tubes are crafted from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), including the valve, enabling them to be approximately 40% lighter than comparable Schwalbe Extralight butyl tubes and offering extremely low rolling resistance—comparable to tubeless systems. They also provide excellent puncture resistance and maintain their shape even at low pressures, all while being fully recyclable.
