The Dy'on Flash Noseband Bridle with Snap Hooks from the Working Collection is a bridle for riders who are in the saddle every day. An anatomically shaped headpiece, a combined noseband with removable flash strap and quick-release fittings on the cheekpieces make it easy to work with. That way you switch bits quickly without giving up comfort for your horse.
About this bridle
Dy'on's Working Collection is the line made for daily work: plainly finished, solidly built and designed to be put on and taken off often. This model follows that philosophy and puts the emphasis on ease of use.
The headpiece is anatomically shaped and spreads the pressure behind the ears over a larger area. That makes a difference on horses that are sensitive in the poll and during longer training sessions, because the bridle stays quieter in place.
The noseband is a combined noseband: a noseband with a flash strap that runs underneath the bit. That flash strap is removable, so you can choose between a classic bridling and a slightly more stable position of the bit. Handy when you use the same bridle for different horses or different training goals.
The most practical detail is on the cheekpieces: snap hooks instead of buckles. You unclip and reattach the bit without forcing leather through a buckle. You notice that difference above all in a busy yard, with cold hands, or when you are trying several bits one after the other.
The leather is vegetable-tanned. That type of leather feels firmer at first and breaks in gradually: as you use and care for it, it becomes suppler and takes on the shape of the horse's head. The stitching is tone-on-tone and the buckles are stainless steel, which keeps the whole quiet and professional.
Reins do not belong to this bridle. You choose those separately, matched to your discipline and to what feels comfortable in your hands.
